One of the challenges of offshore lifting is dealing with the motion of everything: load, vessel, crane, support base. Technique and experience help reduce the risks!
LOADS
🔸 2 skids with complete process plant
🔸 Safety grid added due to electrical panels, sensors, valves, and fiberglass pipes
🔸 Preliminary weighing performed to determine weight and center of gravity (CG)

LIFTING
🔸 Different slings used for onshore and offshore lifting
🔸 Long guide ropes used to prevent riggers from getting too close
🔸 Due to the weight of the loads (maximum 11 tons), the platform’s own crane was used
🔸 Placement in near-final position, with fine adjustments made by sliding over Teflon plates

TechCon Scope
🔸 Preparation of onshore and offshore rigging plans
🔸 Structural design of the spreader bar
🔸 Structural design of the protective grid (bumper)
🔸 Load securing project for maritime transport
🔸 Inspection of slings and accessories
🔸 Witnessing of load tests
🔸 Onboard supervision during cargo transport
🔸 Onboard supervision on the platform
